ANTIQUE VICTORIAN 15K GOLD FINELY CARVED SHELL BACCHANTE CAMEO BROOCH. An antique natural shell cameo; beautifully hand carved to depict a classical bacchante with vine leaves and grapes in her hair, in a solid 15 carat gold mount (tests thereabouts) with applied filigree decoration, for wear as a brooch. A high quality cameo - so wearable and extremely collectible too!

CONDITION : All original and very, very good. Slightest signs of wear commensurate with age & use, some very faint natural stresses. Unknown gold marks to pin clasp.
