Antique Early 20th century carved pair of Ere Ibeji twin figures from the African Yoruba tribe. The male figure features very finely carved and soft features while the female figures details are sharper. BOth figures feature remnants of blue pigment and jewelry. They both came from the estate of a Connecticut antique and ethnographic art dealer.
