Carved Labradorite and 1.15ct Diamond, 15ct Yellow Gold Brooch - Antique Circa 1880. This stunning, fine and impressive antique labradorite brooch has been crafted in 15ct yellow gold.

The antique brooch features a four claw set carved labradorite, in the form of an eagle facing forward with wings displayed. The central labradorite is encompassed with a total of fifteen individually claw set Old European cut diamonds, totalling 1.15cts. The eagle design surmounts a 15ct yellow gold sphere, accented with a geometric design to represent a globe.

The stunning example of antique Victorian jewellery secures to the reverse with a conventional hinged pin brooch clasp fastening. This rare brooch has been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 15 carat gold.
