56 cm High 19th-20th Century Chinese finely Carved Dehua Blanc-de-Chine Guanyin. This is part of a nice collection of mostly Asian Antiques. Very Big 56 cm High finely Carved Chinese Dehua Blanc-de-Chine Guanyin It was made in the late 19th to the early 20th Century - late Qing Dynasty or early Republic of China period. This Guanyin is attributable to a great Master of the period, the work of either Su Xuejin (1869 - 1919) or his equally talented student Xu Youyi (1887 - 1940). It measures approximately 22.05 inches (56.0 cm) High.

It is in Fair condition and is missing four (4) fingers on its left hand. It has a few tiny firing cracks most notably in the strands of hair and also has a short section of the hair on its right shoulder that was apparently broken off and re-stuck as shown by the arrows in the following macro image. Otherwise it shows only the appropriate wear for its age.
